In the app: the fastest way
On your phone: open the EventHelm app, go to 'Session' and tap 'Delete my account'.
On the web: Sign in to app.event-helm.com, open 'Settings', and choose 'Delete account'.
We ask why you are leaving, then email a six-digit code to your account's address. Entering the code deletes the account.
What gets deleted
Your account and personal details: Name, email, and the phone number you saved (if any).
Organizations you're the only member of, with their events, guest lists, registration, and billing history. This only happens while an organization has no tickets.
Your membership of organizations other people own. Those organizations carry on, you simply leave them.
Every signed-in session, on every device, including the one you're using.
Files you uploaded (logos, event covers, artwork, etc.).
Deletion is immediate and cannot be undone. with no grace period.
What survives
Some records are not erased the moment you confirm. Most run out on their own schedule; two small ones are kept for good.
Records kept for a limited time — ended sessions are deleted within about 37 days; your account’s security history and error logs after 90 days; and our platform audit trail after 2 years. The audit trail also records your account deletion. Copies in database backups remain until those backups are deleted.
Records in other people’s organizations — those organizations retain events, guest lists, and other records you created there, along with activity history that may identify you.
A permanent free-credit record — we keep this to prevent anyone from claiming the one-time free credits again by deleting and recreating an account.
Your reason for leaving, if provided — we permanently keep one record of your feedback to help improve the product.
Neither of the last two holds your email address, phone number or device fingerprint in readable form — only as an irreversible keyed hash. This matches our Privacy Policy, which describes each of them in full.
What can block deletion
You cannot delete your account if you are the last owner of an organization that has other members, or that has generated tickets. Neither kind of organization can be deleted, so hand it over to someone else first. The app names the organizations and points you at the transfer. If nobody is left to take it, write to support@event-helm.com and we'll sort it out with you.
Guests are not Eventhelm users
If you received a ticket from an organizer, you do not have an EventHelm account, your event organizer holds your details, and they are the people to ask. Tell them you want your data removed. An organizer can delete a guest until a ticket is issued; after that the ticket and the guest it was issued to are kept as the record of what was issued and cannot currently be deleted. If you cannot reach them, write to us and we will help you find the right contact.
